What is a fleet replacement programme?
A fleet replacement programme is a structured plan to systematically replace commercial vehicles in a managed, phased way rather than on a reactive, vehicle-by-vehicle basis. It aligns vehicle replacement with your budget cycles, operational calendar and compliance requirements to reduce disruption and cost.
How many vehicles do we need to qualify for a programme?
There is no minimum fleet size. Vanadam works with operators from five vehicles upward. The value of a structured programme applies at any scale — the planning and management approach simply adjusts to the size of your fleet.
Can we mix vehicle types within the same programme?
Yes. Programmes can cover multiple vehicle types — vans, panel vans, welfare conversions, tippers, pick-ups and other specialist vehicles — all managed under a single programme plan by your account manager.
How long does a fleet replacement programme take?
Timelines depend on fleet size, vehicle specification and the programme type selected. A phased programme may run over 12 to 36 months. A like-for-like replacement of a smaller fleet can often be completed within a single financial year. We agree timelines at the planning stage.
Do you handle disposal of our existing vehicles?
Yes. Vanadam can coordinate the disposal or part-exchange of your outgoing vehicles as part of the replacement programme, simplifying the transition and helping offset procurement costs where possible.
Is the programme flexible if our operational needs change?
Yes. Your programme plan is a living document. Your account manager will review and adapt the schedule with you as your operational requirements, headcount or budget position changes throughout the programme period.
